General meetings are held in weeks 4 and 9 of each term. Unless otherwise advised, the meetings will take place at the Bungendore High School.
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) Funding Application Requests
Our P&C raises funds through fundraising activities with the funds to be expended for the benefit of Bungendore High School students. All Bungendore High School P&C expenditure, including donation funding requests, must be placed on notice for consideration and resolution at a P&C meeting. Urgent, unforeseen funding application requests, may be considered out of session, in exceptional circumstances.
The submission process is:
- Proposals for assistance/funding may be made by teachers, staff, students and parents.
- All funding requests are to be submitted using the BHS P&C Funding Request Form
- Any supporting documentation should be attached to the request.
- Completed forms need to be emailed to the P&C Secretary (bungendore.HSPC@gmail.com) at least one week prior to a scheduled P&C Meeting to allow for their inclusion in the minutes.
Please contact the P&C via email (bungendore.HSPC@gmail.com) to obtain a form or for further details of the approval process.
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) Student Injury Insurance
To serve our school community, Bungendore High School P&C has taken out a Student Injury Insurance Policy for all of our students.
We all know accidents can happen, and when they happen during school or at school events, even for ones after hours, there is rarely any support available to help families deal with the financial impacts of our children being hurt.
Our student injury policy pays benefits to cover non-Medicare medical expenses, both with dealing with injury, and helping if their kids miss school while injured, and with recovery. We hope it never happens, but know that your child is insured if things like broken teeth, bones or other serious injuries occur at school events, then help is available.
For the Insurance Policy Summary to find out what’s covered or for a Claim Form, please contact the school.
